From Monday 14 September it will be illegal for people in England to gather in groups of more than six. The limit of six people from up to six households will apply to adults and children, indoors and outdoors, in homes, gardens, parks, and venues such as pubs and restaurants.
From Saturday 8 August the places where you will have to wear a face covering will be expanded to include public areas in Hotels. You will be required to wear a face covering in all indoor public areas of the Hotel with the exception of those who are exempt. In the Bar and Restaurant, you may remove these once seated as face coverings are not required in restaurants with table service.
Important message to all our Guests
We want to reassure you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to keep you safe during your stay at the Beechwood Hotel:
One way systems and signage will be in place, we kindly ask you to follow these measures
We are working with our suppliers to make face coverings and gloves available to all our front of house and busy kitchen team behind the scenes, for their own safety and yours
We have removed and re-arranged furniture where possible to allow more space for distancing
We have a perspex screen installed at Reception and all payments will be cashless
When checking in, you will notice an even higher standard of cleaning regimes in place, public areas and bedrooms are being sanitised even more frequently with hospital grade disinfectants
You’ll also see hand sanitising stations around the Hotel, and we encourage all guests to use these
Eating and Drinking
Our Bar will be open with waiter service throughout the ground floor. Bar furniture will be appropriately spaced, with less seating available in the Bar please also make use of the Back lounge and Garden for cream teas and pre-dinner drinks. After dinner coffees will generally be served in the Restaurant. We are also happy to offer Room service for all drinks and meals.
Please stick to your time for Dinner in the evening to allow for social distancing.
Menus will be changing daily, there will be less choice available and instead menus will alternate each evening
We are taking times for tables at breakfast. We will offer table service only at breakfast, with no buffet.
The current guidelines until 13 September state that people should only visit a Restaurant in their household groups or support bubbles, or with one other household, or with up to 5 other people outdoors.
