Covid 19

Important message to all our Guests

We want to reassure you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to keep you safe during your stay at the Beechwood Hotel

Update – 17 March 2022

As per government guidelines we are no longer requesting our guests and staff to wear face masks indoors. We are still cleaning to the highest standards, we have hand sanitiser available throughout the Hotel, and we are opening doors and windows regularly to increase air flow. We are taking times for dinner and breakfast to reduce the number of people in the Bar and Restaurant at any one time.

19th July 2021

Coronavirus restrictions are easing and we will continue to follow current guidelines and use best practice.

It is strongly suggested that you wear a face covering in all indoor public areas of the Hotel with the exception of those who are exempt. In the Bar and Restaurant, you may remove these once seated but please continue to wear your mask when using the Buffet at breakfast.

Our front of house, housekeeping and kitchen staff will continue to wear face coverings for their own safety and yours

We have a perspex screen installed at Reception and encourage cashless payments

Cleaning

When checking in, you will notice an even higher standard of cleaning regimes in place, public areas and bedrooms are being sanitised even more frequently with hospital grade disinfectants

You’ll also see hand sanitising stations around the Hotel, and we encourage all guests to use these

Eating and Drinking

Our Bar will be open with waiter service throughout the ground floor.  Bar furniture will be appropriately spaced, with less seating available in the Bar please also make use of the Back lounge and Garden for cream teas and pre-dinner drinks.  After dinner coffees will generally be served in the Restaurant.  We are also happy to offer Room service for all drinks and meals.

Please stick to your time for Dinner in the evening to allow for social distancing.

We are taking times for tables at breakfast to allow social distancing, please wear your masks where possible at the Buffet table.
